We started Modulabs because ordering a machined or moulded part in the UK still felt like sending an email into a void. Quotes took a week, revisions took another, and the engineer who understood the part rarely spoke to the engineer who made it.
Today we run a small, senior team of mechanical and manufacturing engineers alongside a workshop of CNC mills and lathes, industrial FDM and SLA printers, sheet metal tooling and injection moulding partners we've worked with for years. Everything routes through one instant-quote platform, and every job has a named engineer.
