Low-volume injection moulding
Aluminium tooling for runs from 500 to 50,000 shots. Send your part file and target volume, we'll quote tooling plus per-shot price.

Choosing a material
Resin selection depends on impact, heat, chemical exposure and appearance. The grade and any colour or reinforcement also influence shrinkage and tool design.
- ABS
- Tough, economical and easy to finish. Common for product housings and covers.
- PP
- Lightweight and chemically resistant. Useful for living hinges and containers.
- PC
- Higher impact and heat resistance. Good for protective and structural housings.
- PA / nylon
- Wear-resistant with optional glass reinforcement. Useful for mechanical components.

Before a mould is made
01
Agree the production volume
Target quantity and annual demand help set the tooling approach and make the tooling cost versus unit price clear.
02
Review draft and wall thickness
Consistent walls, suitable draft and sensible ribs help the part release from the tool and reduce sink or warping.
03
Confirm resin and finish
Tell us about temperature, impact, colour and surface texture. The resin's shrinkage and visible faces shape the tool design.
